You can adjust browser cookie settings or use available consent tools where provided. Disabling cookies may affect website or platform functionality.
9. Google API Services And Gmail Data
Inkris offers optional email integration features that allow users to connect their Google account, including Gmail, through OAuth authentication.
When enabled by the user, Inkris may access limited Google user data such as email metadata, message content, sender and recipient information, subject lines, timestamps, threads, attachments where authorized, and related email data strictly to provide user-requested features such as in-app email sending, viewing conversations, syncing communications, and logging communications to CRM records.
Inkris only requests and accesses the minimum Google user data reasonably necessary to operate the functionality authorized by the user.
Inkris's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
• Google user data is used solely to provide features explicitly requested by the user. • Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling. • Google user data is not sold. • Google user data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide or secure the Services, comply with legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted by the Google API Services User Data Policy. • Google user data is not used to train generalized AI or machine learning models. • Users may revoke Google account access at any time through their Google account permissions or available Inkris account settings. • Inkris does not store full copies of users' email inboxes. Temporary processing or caching is performed securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide the Services, unless retention is necessary for user-requested CRM activity records, security, compliance, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
If you disconnect your Google account, we will stop new access to Google user data through that connection. Previously logged CRM communications, activity records, or records required for legal, security, billing, compliance, or dispute purposes may be retained according to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
10. Legal Bases For Processing
Depending on the context and applicable law, we may process personal information based on one or more of the following legal bases:
• Contract performance — to provide the Services, manage accounts, process payments, deliver inquiries, provide support, and fulfill agreements. • Consent — where you submit an inquiry, opt in to communications, connect an integration, accept cookies where required, or otherwise provide consent. • Legitimate interests — to operate, improve, secure, market, measure, enforce, and support the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by applicable privacy rights. • Legal obligations — to comply with tax, accounting, regulatory, security, legal, court, or government requirements. • Protection of rights — to prevent fraud, enforce agreements, collect unpaid amounts, resolve disputes, and protect Inkris, users, consumers, and third parties.
11. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where supported, logging, monitoring, vendor controls, secure cloud infrastructure, least-privilege access, and internal operational controls.
No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and restricting access to authorized users.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, operate the platform, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, collect amounts owed, support security, and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, account status, legal requirements, contractual obligations, business needs, backup cycles, audit requirements, and dispute history.
When personal information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely retain it as permitted or required by law.
Marketplace delivery logs, billing records, credit logs, communication records, audit logs, agreement acceptance records, and dispute-related records may be retained for longer periods where necessary for legal, compliance, accounting, collections, fraud prevention, or enforcement purposes.
13. International Transfers And Storage
Inkris is based in Canada, but we may use service providers, infrastructure, tools, and vendors located in Canada, the United States, or other jurisdictions.
As a result, personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions outside your province, state, or country. Those jurisdictions may have privacy laws that differ from your local laws, and information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, regulators, or government authorities in those jurisdictions.
Where required, we use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information transferred across borders.
14. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, portability of, or information about the personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a request, contact us at support@inkris.ca.
We may need to verify your identity before responding. We may decline or limit requests where permitted or required by law, including where information must be retained for legal, billing, security, dispute, fraud prevention, compliance, or legitimate business purposes.
If you are a consumer whose information was shared with a marketplace provider, you may also need to contact that provider directly regarding information held by that provider.
15. Marketing Communications
You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages or contacting support@inkris.ca.
Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send transactional, operational, billing, legal, security, support, and service-related communications.
If you submit an inquiry, you may receive communications from Inkris or matched providers related to that inquiry, including follow-up calls, SMS messages, emails, or other service-related communications.
16. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@inkris.ca and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete the information where required.
17. Aggregated And De-Identified Data
We may create, use, disclose, and retain aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data for analytics, benchmarking, product improvement, reporting, research, marketing, forecasting, security, and business purposes.
Aggregated or de-identified data does not identify an individual and may be used without restriction where permitted by law.
18. Business Customers As Independent Controllers
Business customers and marketplace providers may receive, collect, process, and store personal information through the Services.
Those customers and providers are responsible for their own privacy practices, legal bases, notices, consents, compliance obligations, communications, and handling of personal information after they receive or access it.
Inkris is not responsible for a customer's or provider's independent use, misuse, disclosure, retention, or handling of personal information outside the Services.
19. Changes To This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Changes are effective when posted on this page unless a later effective date is stated.
For material changes, we may provide notice by email, platform notification, account message, or other reasonable method.
